Hello kiddos!
I'm baCK!
Hehehe...
I had a busy week last week. Very busy because I was on duty. LR/DR!

Everything was so busy because those mom wannabes gave birth simultaneously. Some even gave birth in the labor room. They can't wait to be ushered to the DR! In the process all of us (health care staff) were running to and fro to prepare the delivery set, to glove, to do everything we need to do before, during and after a delivery. Once was a peaceful waiting, then all of a sudden newborns burst forth and everything and everybody went hectic. It was fun, really! There were lots of bloopers that I could still laugh at even now. hahaha!
One could feel the excitement coupled with apprehension there...
And one factor that helped us to handle things with grace under pressure was the outgoing interns we had during our shift and the USC people we worked with. They're a friendly bunch. :)
While waiting for a woman to push her child out of her womb, we would do cherry balls and folded OS while chatting like mad. haha!
Oh i could remember the breech deliveries! I finally saw a footling! :)
We spent a lot! Yeah. We weren't allowed to go out without changing our clothes (you'll be entering an unsterile ground once you leave the Labor room, and that's against the principle), so we were forced to call McDonald's, Jollibee or KFC to have our dinners delivered. Good for those who brought their baons... but of course, you can't resist the coke float, right?

Ok, I'll mention some bloopers:
1. the diaper accident (mine)
2. the pinkie swear (mine)
3. drop-the-sutures (oh they were many of them...)
4. Mop-the-floor (all)
5. Gloves washing expertise (all)
But this thing is something serious: HepB-no-gloving incident. Next time we have to learn everything about our patients...

hahaha!
Go DR!
Go Group 4!

PS: We pray for the souls of those neonates who died, especially during our shift. IUFD (intra-uterine fetal death). May you little angels rest in peace.

woooot!
geez...
i wasn't able to blog on my 2nd year anniversary!! And on Jeth's birthday too!
too BaD...
anyway,
It's true. It was the start of my 2nd year in the blog world last October 30. Hmmm.. I think I was out of the house most of the time...doing some laag2... hahahaha!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
belated. :)

I was supposed to go to Zamboanga for 5 days, but unfortunately they forgot to get me my ticket. (-_-) I would have stayed there and visited my relatives and have a nice tour...
so much for that.

Well, it's been a while since I've written about the so-called love. What does that mean?
It means i'm a goner when it comes to that. hahahaha!

But I've been feeling. Feeling as I try to put my imagination on track...thinking of ways to put that someone alive in my mind... shaping his face, his expression, his actions. All so stupid, really. hahahaha. I can't let that happen... or I'll probably go crazy myself...

All i know that it's better to love freely, without commitment, because one can show his or her love without feeling afraid of rejection, of failure, of closure. You are just there, doing all you can, expressing yourself to the one you regard as special...

But is love merely a feeling?
no.
It is action grounded by emotions and thoughts.
It moves.
It reaches.
It touches.

Gaaaahh...

I can feel his smile on me. I can feel his hand as he held mine. I can hear his sweet laughter as I go myself clumsy. I can see him there, sitting in front of me, smirking as usual. I can hear his voice, count his steps, smell his perfume.

He's there. I'm here.
No chains.
No pretentions.
Just us.

And...

Just being me.
