Labangon Health center is one busy place.
we had the most number of patients there for our two weeks of community involvement. On our very first exposure we were submerged into "immunization" event with a bit of a shock. We did not know that we'd be going through that on our first day. And boy, we weren't ready. All of us have experienced being pinched, shaken, and even told in an angry voice to get out. I won't be bold to say that we weren't scared, and really our wits were tested with that pressure Sir DaƱo inflicted on us. The kids were all very cute, but we were hesitant to inject them... they're such angels! Imagine the cries you can hear every time their vaccines are given! But then we fought our fears, and in spite the things that happened, we have learned a lot.
We had Operation BP in a slum area in Labangon last Friday. Just this Monday we had general cleaning in the health center. On Wednesday, again, we had immunizations. This time we were confident that we won't get reprimanded. And yes! I was told "Wonderful." and "Very good"! Yehey for me and my classmates! :D
On Thursday we had injected preggies. We experienced and saw how Leopold's maneuver was done, and we even saw a newly born child in the center, with the umbilical cord still hanging on the child! It was such a new experience... It's was nice and fun!

But there's one thing I don't like.
My skin got darker because of the sun!
Waaaaaaah!
