Yiruma

Sung by: Hienie Dao

Kiss The Rain

I often close my eyes
And I can see you smile
You reach out for my hand
And I'm woken from my dream
Although your heart is mine
It's hollow inside
I never had your love
And I never will

CHORUS
And every night
I lie awake
Thinking maybe you love me
Like I've always loved you
But how can you love me
Like I loved you when
You can't even look me straight in my eyes

VRS 2/3
I've never felt this way
To be so in love
To have someone there
Yet feel so alone
Aren't you supposed to be
The one to wipe my tears
The on to say that you would never leave

The waters calm and still
My reflection is there
I see you holding me
But then you disappear
All that is left of you
Is a memory
On that only, exists in my dreams

CHORUS

VRS 4
I don't know what hurts you
But I can feel it too
And it just hurts so much
To know that I can't do a thing
And deep down in my heart
Somehow I just know
That no matter what
I'll always love you

VRS 1

So why am I still here in the rain

I so love CLASSICS!

I listen to classical music when I'm about to doze off and when I'm all energized for studying. The instruments are really soothing to the ears... you don't have to put in words and understand them like ordinary songs do.
In classics, you'd hear instruments playing melodiously, with meaning... with pain.. with happiness... with melancholy... with joy... with grief...

It's a song itself.

Sometimes these make me speechless. I get carried away with the notes and the graceful way everything fell into place. In the silence I learn to appreciate what was ignored, in the darkness I learn that I'm not alone...
Classics...

Right now I'm listening to Yiruma's amazing compositions. If you want soft, heart-piercing music, I recommend him (also Beethoven, Chopin and the others). I like--no, love-- his River Flows in You, Love Me (waaah!) and Kiss the Rain (speechless!). The River Flows in You was played by At Liz Zosa once in school, and really, it stuck in my heart ever since. Here is an Mp3 below; you can listen to it if you want.

For more classical music suggestions, you can visit Phoebe's site. Just click her name on my 'Catching Weirdos' list.

Trust me. It isn't only Yiruma who's good (and actually the best), but also those internationally known artists and musicians too. I have more than 15 classics in the MP from various musicians, and mind you, those never failed to amuse, entertain, amaze and soothe me.

I highly recommend classics!

"How could this happen to me? I'm made by mistakes. I've got nowhere to run. And life goes on... it's unfading away. I'm sick of this life. I just wanna scream... How could this happen to me...?"

Yes, sometimes I do feel melancholic. moody. guilty. suppressed. angst.
This happened so many times before. that i want to scream my lungs out because of frustration and pressure and unresolved self-issues. so bagged down...

But now, I'm trying not to.
I'm trying to build up courage, to prevent choking up on volcanic feelings that are being held in control, to stabilize confidence and competence. With the best of the best around me, I'm trying to cope... and be the best that I can be.

It isn't too late...

It isn't too late.

2010 Board Exam is FAST APPROACHING.

That really sounds pretty scary, especially for those who are about to take it.

My sister, included.

Well, all we could do is to pray for their success. 100% passing grade and a landslide on the top. Char. hahaha.

Let's pray for those who will be taking the exam this July 3 and 4, 2010. May they have presence of mind, strength and enlightenment as they go through this stage. May they remember the things they studied and reviewed for the past months. May they have an undying focus as they answer the mind-boggling exam, and may they emerge unscathed and successful. May they have an unwavering faith in God, in their family and friends and in themselves.

God bless you, June 2010 Board exam takers.

ER mode next week.

It hurts.

oh where are those leeches now?

sigh.

There's this song that's been playing in my head.
A song from a long time ago... a song that could pierce the heart and touch the soul without making them bleed. A song so inspiring... that all of us ought to hear it.

"We were the reason
That He gave His life
We were the reason
That He suffered and died
To a world that was lost
He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live"

God is so good. He gave us this wonderful life in this wonderful world. He made nature beautiful and amazing. He made music soulful and inspiring through cacophonies of sounds and melodies. He made our jobs and school work challenging. He made our homes a place we all have our families, whether you're blood-related or not. He made our families and friends who can guide and support us in times of grave and dire need. He made the sky and the stars and the heavenly bodies mysterious and baffling. He made animals as our friends and companions in this world. He made our bodies with appropriateness, consistency and flexibility. He made our complex minds in order to process information, make critical decisions, and understand His Divine Word. He made our eyes, nose ears, mouth and skin as our five senses to come up in a totality of COMMON SENSE, SENSE OF DIRECTION, and SENSE of FAITH.
He made our Hearts to make us feel his presence. He made our instincts to make us be aware of his goodness in spite of the horrid darkness that surrounds us. He made our souls to connect us to him from this earthly existence...to his place in heaven.

And he made Jesus, to sacrifice his life just to give us life.

He made you. He made me. He made all of us.

We should be grateful.
