I was very happy! The hardwork me and Kuya (RJ) and the officers finally paid off...and for me the reward of it was the success of the whole program. I salute Kuya for his leadership! :D
Kudos, Ya, and to the rest of the officers who made the whole event possible with their helping hands! Also to Ma'am Atams, and the CIs who helped us during our practices! :D
I didn't really feel the whole ceremony thing yet until I held the caps and brought them to the altar during the mass. As I waited there, the whole world lit up, I was getting edgy, I was getting elated...you know, the ambivalent feelings of someone who knew everything's coming at once as soon as she realizes it. And boom, everything was there. The time ticked and before I knew it I was marching to the front with three other mates and had ourselves capped by four chief nurses of the affiliated hospitals of CNU. We lit our lamps, went back to our seats, and got a happy, swelling feeling, after seeing everyone capped and badged.
We couldn't help but give a cry of joy. :D
After that we had our pictorials all over the place; it actually got messy. But heck, the program was done anyway, would anyone give a damn to what happens next? Hahaha...
Whew. What a ride.
And what a ride we'll be facing soon.
Real soon.
PS:
Special thanks to my Mom and sis who went with me! To my Mom who hesistantly drove our car from Jugan (that was a last-minute decision) to Guadalupe, thanks. Thanks pud sa lunch sa Harbour City! :D
To my sis who led the way (we got lost for a few moments) and who was game during lunch, thanks too. :D
