Now that the midterm week is finally done, everything has gone back to normal. The pace, the rush, the surprises and inevitable crazy going-on in school are back on full force. Our marks were just released. And dang, they're one big "Whoa!". One can't just believe what HAD gone in the past few weeks, in the past two months of the second semester. Like,
"hey, is this what I've got? What happened weeks ago...
What happened to me?"
The results made all of us decide to double, triple, quadruple our efforts. It wasn't what we expected; it wasn't what we wanted. I'm stressing WE here, coz all of us never thought about this, all of us couldn't fathom the idea of losing our grips all of a sudden, without knowing why. It's a hard drive, and the pressure is digging up once more, probably ready to swallow me us up... shoot.
But thank God we're still halfway. We still have time to catch up, to make up for all the things we neglected...
Waaaah, can't wait for enema to start! Really, the thought of having a catheter infiltrating your body is gross and exhilarating. But hey! It's a new chapter of our lives, the chapter that links us to what is real and to what is superficial. THIS will probably bridge the gap between the external realm of return demos and the internal dimension of the human body. Wahahaha. Maybe we would be able to say in the future:
"HA! Nakaya gani namo ang enema nga skin-deep. Makaya ra na nato ang uban uie. "
CHAR!
I'm a lil crazy girl, eh? I wonder what would become of me what this episode comes... and waaaah! That will be next week!

Omg... Richard Poon!
Wow, he's amazing! His voice so smooth, so cool and calm it makes me stop at what I'm doing and just lend my ears. He's a newbie, all right, but he's got what it takes to make it to the big stage. He's the Philippine's Michael Bublé, who's also one of my most favorite artists in the music industry. Charlie Green too! He's the junior of these male artists that i find interesting. The three of them sing the same genre, and they sing their songs very well.
Now you know which songs mostly hit me. Hehe.
Ever since I heard Richard Poon perform on ASAP months ago, I never forgot his name. He's got this melodramatic, jamming, romantic aura that many girls surely can't resist. :D
These guys rock!
The exams are finally, finally over!
what a blurry week...
But anyway, it's a relief having the exams done. Pass or fail, it doesn't matter, well actually it does but I couldn't care less, could I? Hehe. As long as it's over... I've done my bestest. :D
Yesterday we were on the streets along E-mall and ACT, doing a human-barricade with all our arms looped together and a yellow rope extended from end to end inside our clenched fists. As it was my first time to be in Cebu City during the Sinulog days, I was surprised when there were a lot of people in the procession, and my estimate was no less than fifteen thousand people walking solemnly for the image of Sr. Sto. Niño. People jostled from a point I knew not where until they were out of my sight, and other faces streamed once again before my eyes and then everything went vague with all those pushes and pulls and sweat and tugs and Sto. Nino statues of various sizes... I had a number of disappointments, though, but let's leave them at that.
When we were about to go home (and that was after we dined in McDonald's, which completely wiped out my money. hehe!), there was no jeepney in sight! We had to walk from Jones UNTIL CSAT just to find a means of going home after being hideously ranted and pushed around by people during the procession. When we arrived there, the procession was still going on, and it was the TAIL of the procession. The last people were nursing students from various schools, bleaching the streets with all the whiteness emanating from their uniforms.
I couldn't almost fathom the gargantuan of devotees as we moved through in and out of the crowd.
The proper words to discribe the scene? "Di mahulugan ng karayom."
It was a mess, really. Not the whole procession, but after all those people piling up to reach the Sto. Nino church. It was then I realized at some point in our bustling that people were crowding before the CSAT gates because the Parokya ni Edgar band was coming for a FREE concert on the CSAT grounds! I wanted to watch, but boy, thank God I still had my mind on. It would have probably taken me forever to reach our house if I decided to stay behind. XP
And yeah, you guessed it right. The jeepneys have gone overboard. As always when the streets are busy. I wanted to reprimand those crooks who crammed every bit of us and gave the incorrect and overpriced fares, but I decided otherwise. It would be better for the LTO to sort it out, right?
Yeah, Lyn2 got the plate number and sent it to her mom to do the talking.
hehe.
Go, go!
What a day...
But now, I wanna say:
"Pit Senyor, guys!"

First week was one hell of a ruddy ride. Such a fast-paced roller coaster; it made the world upside down. Quizzes, moving tests, demos, last-minute lectures and printing and stuff... It sometimes got in my head. Glimpses of impending exams kept flashing before my eyes, and i tried to shake them off for the entire week. Most often I manage to succeed the game of suppressing worries and unpleasant things, and I tried to keep my cool. And really, i was too tired to push a lot of those terms and chuvaness in my head--i might get crazy, or so i thought. Never mind the thought that I haven't studied a lot, as long as I tried and as long as I got some sleep. Those what really mattered to me, and i found them essential in order to keep functioning. Most of my classmates didn't get enough and/or any sleep at all, though i understood why.
Hope they'd get some sleep this weekend.
Next week will probably one of the mind-boggling scenarios of our college lives. it's a pass-or-fail-walang-patawad-ever deal. But I hope we're gonna make it 'slightly' scathed, but whole.
Whole and still on the run.
Midterms!
Duty!
Enema...
wahahaha! :D
PS: Smile always. Worrying kills.

Christmas Vacation Is Almost O.V.E.R...
too bad!
I've been drunk with the luscious tastes of this sumptuous break, and it would probably make me a little bit mental as I go back to the real world of school and exams. Waking up early will be a struggle by next week! Sigh. I don't want the long break to end yet!
Who would?
Christmas was lonely and sleepy. New Year was not so "bongga-cious" because we did not enjoy our fireworks that much, but the festivity in the house because of our prepared food saved it all. But anyway, the two events were worth all the praise; they're the only times we can gather all together without worrying about what lies outside the four corners of the house.
Dad! Wish you were here. But then, we know you just have to hang on in there. Someday nya. Someday.
Since the start of our break I've read books to entertain me. Not our Anatomy book and the lot! No. I read pocketbooks just to kill time. I didn't want to open my school books yet; they're just a bore.
And oh! I haven't given The New Year's Resolution a thought. I have now. Hihi...
I just want to pass.
That's all.
Happy New Year everyone!

- Artemis Fowl the Opal Deception by Eoin Colfer- really superb. Artemis is such a genius! Can't believe a fourteen-year old kid could defeat a very cunning fairy like Opal Koboi; can't believe he could pull those tricks and get out of dangers alive--barely; and i can't believe i was amazed when he stole the Fairy Thief painting and tricked a very secured and high-tech international bank with just a rod of his skateboard, a pair of shoes, and a sketch on a big piece of paper! Really shrewd... Five stars for this!
- Nell by Jeanette Baker- two stories from different times converging on a single timeline, with a sweet twist of fate. Two women, two Fitzgeralds of the country Ireland. interesting...
- Post Mortem by Patricia Cornwell- all those strangling and tortured homicide cases of women keeps you guessing but not really that exciting. Those techies were the gems of the story, but its storyline is not so captivating. i was looking for an upbeat suspense, fresh and compelling and gripping, but this book doesn't grasp the whole thing.
- By the River Piedra I sat down and Wept by Paolo Coelho- I've read this already ages ago but when I saw it lying on the corner of my parents' room, something rekindled within me and made me take the book and read it again. It never tired me of giving such interesting ideas, and the love was itself a show of struggle. I actually am lost for words for this, and actually I find it quite difficult to beautifully describe Paolo Coelho's works. He really is one of the best writers, from The Alchemist to Eleven Minutes and his recent books. I highly recommend his books.
And oh! I haven't given The New Year's Resolution a thought. I have now. Hihi...
I just want to pass.
That's all.
Happy New Year everyone!
