PARADISO!

After two attempts of Bogo adventure, my hardwork finally paid off. My Mom and Dad said yes! W000t! For those who don't know the Cebu geography, here's the map:

It's almost at the tip of the Cebu Island.

Anyway, we got there on August 27th. We ATTEMPTED to meet up in the bus terminal at 6 am, but we all met up minutes before 8. Haha..! Mga pinoy jud..
So our bus trip lasted for more than 2 hours. We arrived at Tony's place just in time for a festive lunch. :) Yummy yummy!
Tony's family was very hospitable and accommodating. One could feel them as a real family! :)

1st day (August 27, 2010)
Homebodies on the loose:
(Clockwise) Me, Dan, Kuya Mon, TONY, Twin, Ya
without twin..? and Mijo.

7 up!

There's a place downtown where books are all around... :)

2nd Day (August 28, 2010)
The first thing I did was wake up early and watch the sunrise. Then, Tony, Dan and I went out to Bike! But before that, here's a conversation that I'll never forget:
Me: Twin, have you ever tried lying face up on the street?
Twin: (Looking at me) Yeah. Back in our place in Lanao.
Me: Well, how about here in Cebu?
Twin: Nope.
Me: How about if we try it here?
Twin: (Now looking at me as if I were insane. Yeah, I was. Take note, it's a highway. Anytime a bus would come running down the street with no intention of stopping. So I was insane.) SURE.
Me: (Now thinking that we were both nuts.) Okay! Go!!
Both of us went to the center of the highway, looking frantically around for a sign of a bus. We laid down in opposite directions, laughing and enjoying the rare street moment.
Me: (Shouting) This is so cool!
All of a sudden we heard some honking behind me. It's a bus!! We scrambled on our feet and moved out of the way just as the bus came by the curve towards us. The passengers were gaping at us just as we laughed like hell. XD
Hair all over the place..
Heading for Malapascua!

Roads and Scenery:
Posing before take-off.
Kuya and I at Daan Bantayan port.

There it is!!
The Island!
Look how clear the water is...the first thing i thought was:
'so this is the Mini Bora!
Such fine, white sands..
such clear waters..
such a peaceful and a relaxing place..
wow!'

The tarp.
Tony and her parents.

Night time. After watching the schools of fish and the beautiful sunset.night swimming. watching shooting stars.

Many things happened that night, though. We thought we wouldn't sleep, but no way, that's impossible. :)

3rd Day (August 29, 2010)

We woke up early to watch the most-awaited sunrise.walking alone on the shore... feeling the sand and the waters under my feet...the sun slowly rising on the horizon..
frolicking under the sun!family. :)
